An Unlived Life!

Driven by the longing for my homeland,

I crossed the oceans and arrived on foreign shores...

Watching the years quickly pass by,

I built a family and raised children of my own!

Leaving behind all my close kin—

In the grand scheme of things,

Almost forgetting them completely—

I kept searching

For whatever little was left of those relationships!

And yet, I have not lived

for my own desires!
